Hey Saints!

St. Benedict, in partnership with all other WCDSB high schools, will be hosting a collection drive for used/new shoes and brand new socks to donate to our surrounding community.

The collection period will be the entire week of November 18th, and will be done out of the SAC office during both lunches. Please bring any old pairs of shoes that are in acceptable condition, and look into purchasing new socks, still in the package, to donate.

If our goal of 300 shoes is reached, our school will earn an additional civvies day!

Parents of our community, we are calling on all of you to help us; clean out your closets whilst supporting a greater cause.

This years Homecoming will be taking place on Thursday, October 16th in our own school gyms form 6:30 – 8:30 PM. 🪩 Tickets are $7 and are available to purchase on School Cash Online — however tickets are limited, get them while you still can! 🎟️

The theme is Once Upon a Time! 🪄👗

Join us for this magical evening filled with lots of food, drinks, music and more! 💃 We hope to see you all there 🥳

Hey Saints! 😁 Our Senior Boys Volleyball Showcase is taking place THIS Wednesday, October 15th at 3PM in Gyms 2 & 3. 🏐  There will be music, chips, jumbo sour keys, pop, and candy guessing jars available for YOU to win! 🥤

The theme is TROPICAL, so show up dressed in your Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian patterns and/or your fun bright colours. 🪩 Absolutely NO bathing suits or inappropriate clothing will be tolerated.🚫

Here is a quick rundown of everything going on:

– CIVVIES DAY!! This Wednesday, it’s civvies day of the year, which means no uniform is required in your classes, though it must follow the dress code! Reminder: All proceeds from this month’s payment will go to the Save the Children charity.

– WELCOME BBQ!! This Wednesday, during your designated lunch breaks, a BBQ will be held in the courtyard. Be sure to grab a ticket from your homeroom to ensure eligibility. Hold on to it tight and make sure you don’t lose it!

– SENIOR SUNRISE UPDATE!! This Wednesday, due to inclement weather conditions, Senior Sunrise has unfortunately been postponed until further notice. Please keep tabs on this page and the Instagram for updates on when it will be held.

– SENIOR FOOTBALL PEP RALLY!! This Wednesday, the Senior Football Pep Rally will be going on as long as the game is happening. Please note that games may only be cancelled due to lightning, not rain. Dress accordingly to the weather, bring seating if possible, and most importantly, your energy!
