In September 2008, a group of St. Benedict teachers took on—as part of their school improvement plan—information communication with the broader school community. After consulting with administration, we decided to provide more current and relevant updates to parents about activities at the school.

From that, the BENN—Bennie’s Electronic News Network—was born. The goal was to put out a timely, informative newsletter every two weeks. Taking into account the logistics of putting together such a newsletter, we decided to go with Wednesdays. And it’s easy to remember: every second Wednesday is a BENN’s day!

Our target market is the parents and students of St. Benedict C.S.S.. However, anyone interested in the school is welcome to join the e-mailing list. Registration is free.
