Student timetables available

This afternoon, your child should have received an email sent to their Student Board email account, from the Board Office, indicating that the Student Portal is now open for them to access their timetable.


We are sending along a set of instructions on how to access the Board Student Email account. Please see the attachment for details.


If you are new to St. Benedict’s, you will need to contact the school for your child’s timetable information.


In the near future, your child will be receiving an email from their individual teachers with details about their courses and start dates.

Dear Waterloo Catholic Community –

Welcome back to the new school year! It hardly seems possible that it has been 7 months since our schools were alive with the sounds of staff and students engaged in the joy of learning. Today we take the first tentative steps to returning, at least in part, to the routines that characterized our lives back in March.

Used Uniform Distribution Event – Rain or Shine

  • please respect social distancing of 2 metres and wear a mask.
  • this is an outside event, please do not enter the school
  • parent/student may request up to 3 uniform items. 1 pair of pants only (examples: 2 shirts and 1 pant or 1 shirt, 1 pant, 1 shorts)
  • students may not try the items on until they get home
  • no money is exchanged – items are free, while quantities last
  • pick up time will be by grade
  • date and times located in the online request form

This is an important message from the WCDSB and Administration at SBCSS


The staff are working at the school to implement our reopening plan, to ensure our buildings are fully ready to welcome all students and to ensure our cohorts have been balanced appropriately in terms of numbers. These are key priorities to everyone’s safe return. For all of these reasons, and out of an abundance of caution, we are moving the Secondary start day to Monday, September 14. A letter from the Director with further information is attached.


Further details about our secondary model, the timing of our day, and our Operational Guidelines are all available on our website,


All information relevant to cohorts and student schedules will now be available as of Wednesday, September 9. We apologize for any inconvenience but again our decision regarding a new Student Information System was made long before COVID has become a reality. We want to ensure the safest possible start for all.
