Hey Saints!

 

Spirit Week is here. SAC will be doing a variety of events during the week related to school spirit.

From receiving a lot of feedback about spirit week from previous years, we implemented and organized events that will appeal and satisfy our student body. Many students have voiced their opinions about losing motivation and spirit as the second semester continues. As a result, we hope this week filled with numerous spirit events will help bring back their excitement and energy at school.

 

Here’s a rundown of all the events:

 

Monday:

  • Students will be welcomed by SAC to into the school
  • There will be a DJ in the atrium
  • Candy will be handed out!

Tuesday:

  • Inspirational quotes will be written on bathroom mirrors
  • Minute to win it!:
    • Four student will be chosen to play minute to win it with Oreos
    • A timer for a minute will play and the students will have a minute to attempt to eat a Oreos with just using their faces 
    • Students who are successful will win a prize

Wednesday:

  • A basketball game during lunch where teachers who sign up to participate will play against some of the students that have participated on the school’s basketball teams (5 from girls and 5 from boys)
  • Students will be encouraged to come out during lunch to watch in the stands and cheer for their favored team
  • Students and teachers can get ready and go to the gym right after 2nd period
  • The game will start at 10:45-11:10
  • Jersey day
    • Students wear jersey with uniform bottoms in support of the student vs teachers 
    • basketball game

Thursday:

  • Photo booth 
    • During lunch, in the atrium, there will be a spot to take pictures with bennie with school spirited props
    • Each student will be able to take a photo on their phone as well have the option to get one polaroid picture provided by SAC
  • Anything but a backpack day
    • Students are encouraged to bring anything but a backpack to carry their school supplies, this will help show student creativity

Friday:

  • Spirit Assembly 
  • Spirit Wear Day 
    • Students wear a spirit wear top with uniform bottoms
