What this club is about:
- gender equality
- raising awareness of the plight of girls and boys here at home and around the world who suffer as child labourers, child brides, etc.
- the lack of access to education and food for girls in many cultures, etc.
- how both girls and boys need to be part of the equality solution!
Girls and boys welcome! We need to work together to be part of equality solutions! We will have discussion, participate in activities and hopefully bring greater awareness to the rest of our school and home communities.
Every Tuesday at lunch in room 123.
Champions for Change Meeting!
Please meet tomorrow, Thursday Nov. 23rd, in room 123 at lunch for a club photo opportunity and TEDtalk. New members ALWAYS welcome! Don’t forget to bring your lunch! See you there, Mrs. Kot
Are you a Champion of Change?
Are you a Champion of Change? Do you believe in equality for all, no matter what your gender is? Do you want to see and be a part of positive change in the world? If so, please come out to Room 123 on Thursdays for the “Champions of Change Club” that works in support of the “Because I am a Girl” movement. We need girls and boys to help make the world a better place for all. Bring your lunch and join us in room 123 every Thursday to see how YOU can be a positive change in the world.
