HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a Health Science organization dedicated to future students of Health Science. Much like DECA, HOSA is a competition-based event that is run in Toronto and students can choose to compete in one of the 41 different health occupation events offered.

We are not running a HOSA club at the school this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, however, HOSA Canada IS running this year. You can join on your own and attend the spring conference and events virtually.  A minimum of 5 students from our school are required to join in order for St. Benedict to have a team that is allowed to compete in the team and partner events.

Click on the link below to take you to the HOSA Canada website and the information and instructions for the 2020-2021 year are there. It is still a great opportunity and a resume builder so even though we are not running it formally at St. Benedict this year, it is worth considering.
