Come out and support your Junior Girls Basketball team as they face Rockway at 3pm today in their semi final game on home court! Winner goes to Finals on Monday at Woodland!
Friday’s CWOSSA quarter-final game in Owen Sound has been move to MONDAY–please update your calendars.
Would all grade 9’s interested in playing Midget Boys basketball meet in room 210 at 10:40 sharp on Tuesday, November 7 for a meeting and to receive permission forms to tryout. If you cannot attend please see Mr. Mathé (ma-tay) in workroom 3.1 to receive a permission form, as you will need this filled out before you can tryout.
Tryouts begin Wednesday, November 8 and Friday, November 10th at 2:30 pm in the gym. Please make sure your tryout permission form has been handed into Coach O’Brien or Coach Stefan in the Science office.
Do you rock? Are you interested in curling this year? Please come to an information meeting Friday November 3 at the beginning of lunch in room 213. Students from all grades are welcome. Please see Ms. Missio in room 208 for more information.
There will be a meeting for those interested in playing on the Girls Hockey Team on Thursday, November 2 in room 125 at the start of lunch. ANYONE interested in playing this year should attend. If you cannot be there please see Mr. Offak in room 125.

Please keep in mind; you can also get involved in athletics at St. Benedict through management of teams, score-keeping and through athletic council. If you are interested in any of these opportunities please see Mr. Jankura.
Teachers and coaches of sports teams are strongly encouraged to submit team rosters, game results, and information to Mr. Milardovic to have that information posted on the school’s website.
FEES: To help offset the cost of teams and in order to sustain our excellent athletic programs, Parent Council and staff have approved an additional charge for participation on an athletic team. The athletic fee is $50 per team to a maximum of three teams. Athletes must also pay a one time fee of $10-15 for the athletic banquet.
Please Note: Some teams such as football and hockey have additional charges for equipment, rink rental etc.
