Seeking Scholarships: Zoom Workshop – Planning and Funding Post Secondary Education

We are two Moms on a Mission — and two experienced educators — determined to share important information about postsecondary planning for your teens. Combined, our own children have received over $70,000 in scholarships, bursaries, and government funding as well as offers to their top choice university programs!

We will focus on financial solutions and applications strategies.

The Waterloo Catholic Schools Foundation and the St. Jerome’s High School Memorial Fund have established the ‘Awards of Distinction’ program honouring Catholic secondary school graduates who demonstrated exemplary performance in one or more of the award categories through academic achievement and participation in extra-curricular school activities.

KW Legacy Scholarships

KW Legacy Scholarships: Leadership, Citizenship, Community Building

Legacy Scholarship requirements
In order to qualify for a Legacy Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Attend a post-secondary institution that is approved by the Ontario Student Assistance Program
  • Have a minimum cumulative average of 70% in their top six 12 M/U courses
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Scholarships can be viewed here:
Student wishing to apply for the KW Legacy Scholarship should speak to their Guidance counsellor.

Applications should be received in Guidance by February 28th
