Convocation 2026

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Last evening, the St. Benedict community gathered to celebrate the class of 2026 at a memorable Convocation Ceremony held at Center in the Square. As teachers, it was a privilege to witness our students walk across the stage, reflecting not only on their academic achievements, but also on their growth, resilience, and character they have demonstrated along the way. The evening was filled with pride, joy, and optimism as families, friends, and staff came together to honour this important milestone.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our School Board Director, Trustees, school Administration, and the many staff members whose dedication and hard work helped make the ceremony such a success.

We are so thankful to the teachers who attended alongside our students and their families, exemplifying the strong sense of community that makes our school so special. Their presence served as a reminder that graduation is not only the students, but also the result of the support, encouragement, and guidance provided by so many throughout their educational journey. Congratulations to our graduates! We are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved and look forward to the many successes that await you in the future.

Grade 12 used uniform donation tomorrow

Our traditional Grade 12 used uniform collection will take place tomorrow (Thursday, June 11) in the cafeteria from 7:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Students are asked to donate a minimum of two uniform items. In exchange for their donated items, they will receive a blue or yellow wristband which will allow them to dress in civvies for the remainder of the school year.
Also, if students want to donate their grad gowns and stoles, those will be accepted at the same time.

Locker Clean-Out Deadline: June 24th at noon

Please ensure your locker is completely empty and meets the following checklist before the deadline:
  • Empty: Take home all personal belongings.
  • Return: Give all textbooks back to your teachers.
  • Clean: Remove all garbage.
  • Exit: Leave the locker door open, and hang the lock on the latch.
Important: Any items left behind after noon on June 24th will be thrown away or donated.

The St. Benedict's Dance Showcase was a Hit!

On Monday June 8th, Bennie's students displayed their dance and choreography skills on our stage. The audience was blown away by all of the talent and they absolutely loved watching the various styles of dance such as hip hop, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, praise and musical theatre. A special thank you to some of the local dance studios who were guests at our show as dancers and choreographers. A VERY special thank you to everyone who came out to the show to support our dance program! The Bennie's dancers are so excited for next year to create new dance pieces and to share them with our friends, families and community!
