As we approach the holiday season, we recognize that this year has brought financial challenges for many in our community. With rising costs and economic uncertainty, the joy and warmth of Christmas may feel out of reach for some families. Organizations that are providing Food Hamper and Gift supports can be found here:
In addition, Family Outreach Workers walk with families by problem-solving solutions together, connecting them with services in their community and providing direct support when necessary. Contact information can be found here:

From the Librarian's Desk
Hey Bennies – Cambridge Public Library Clemens Mill (aka your school library!) offer a huge variety of registered and drop-in programs for students and their whole families throughout the year, including our ever-popular Stranger Things escape room. I’m so excited to see what the team has dreamt up to celebrate the final season!
Stranger Things
From December 11-16 we’re transforming the library classroom into Hawkins, Indiana. Journey through all five seasons of Stranger Things; face Demogorgons, decode secret transmissions, and battle Vecna’s dark curse. Will you outsmart the terrors of the Upside Down and save Hawkins… or become its next victim? Grab 3-5 of your friends and visit the library service desk to book your time today!
Art with Nicole
If you’re looking for some relaxing crafts before the holidays, stop by the library classroom on Monday, December 8th at 2pm for our last visit of 2025 by Nicole from the Cambridge Art Galleries!
Grade 8 Night
If you’re visiting the school for Grade 8 Night on 4 December, be sure to swing by the library! We’ll be making buttons and chatting all things library in the school halls.
