Bennies Buddies is a group of student leaders who work to create a warm and inviting experience for grade 9 students. Applications for the next school year come up in June.
Our mission is to empower and guide grade 9 students through high school. We are committed to being positive role models, sharing our school knowledge, and fostering community. By actively engaging with grade 9 students, we aim to enhance their awareness of school activities, provide valuable information, and create a welcoming environment. Through answering questions and offering support, we strive to make grade 9 students feel comfortable, included, and inspired to thrive in our school community. Bennies Buddies is dedicated to fostering connections, building confidence, and ensuring every grade 9 student feels a sense of belonging within our school family.

This week we revisit former companion Ruby Sunday, as she attempts to get on with her life, post-Doctor…but what if her new boyfriend has other ideas? This week we explore post-TARDIS life in LUCKY DAY. Join us for this real-ish life adventure this Friday May 9th, after school in room 226.

Join us as we explore this mystery and terror with them…and discover what might be waiting for them…this Friday May 2nd, as we enter & explore…THE WELL. DOCTOR WHO CLUB: Coming April 25th
In 1952 Miami, an apparently abandoned cinema is at the center of a mystery involving disappearing people…and the heart of this mystery lies with an old cartoon character who seems to not like the idea of being left behind by the modern world. Are you ready to meet Mr. Ring-a-ding? Let the introduction begin this week as we watch the next new episode of the season: LUX. Engage with the mystery this Friday April 18th, after school in room 226.

Senior Sunrise Postponed
Hey Saints!
Senior Sunrise was postponed due to the possibility of rain.
The new date is: Tuesday, September 30th!
Details of the event will remain the same, starting at 6:30 am, come to the backfield to start your final year of high school on a positive note.
Please bring blankets, chairs, and other cozy wear to bundle up with your friends!

Hello Saints!
Here is a quick rundown of everything going on:
– CIVVIES DAY!! This Wednesday, it’s civvies day of the year, which means no uniform is required in your classes, though it must follow the dress code! Reminder: All proceeds from this month’s payment will go to the Save the Children charity.
– WELCOME BBQ!! This Wednesday, during your designated lunch breaks, a BBQ will be held in the courtyard. Be sure to grab a ticket from your homeroom to ensure eligibility. Hold on to it tight and make sure you don’t lose it!
– SENIOR SUNRISE UPDATE!! This Wednesday, due to inclement weather conditions, Senior Sunrise has unfortunately been postponed until further notice. Please keep tabs on this page and the Instagram for updates on when it will be held.
– SENIOR FOOTBALL PEP RALLY!! This Wednesday, the Senior Football Pep Rally will be going on as long as the game is happening. Please note that games may only be cancelled due to lightning, not rain. Dress accordingly to the weather, bring seating if possible, and most importantly, your energy!

First Pep Rally!!
Heads up Saints!
We are excited to say that our first pep rally will be happening this Wednesday, September 24th from 3pm – 5:30pm on the St. Benedict’s football field! Be sure to come dressed in colourful, bright clothing and get ready to glow because the theme is Neon!! There will be food trucks, face paint, music, and other fun things to do while supporting and cheering on the St. Benedict’s Senior Football team!
Please bring additional seating such as foldable chairs as seating is very limited, and also be sure to pack clothes for potential rain. To stay up to date on all pep rally information such as cancellation possibility, be sure to check this page and the SAC Instagram!
Bring your Bennie’s bark and show our Senior Football boys as much spirit as we can!!

The 7th Doctor battles the Rani to prevent the destruction of the planet Lakertya…a conflict that hides an even bigger danger that the evil Time Lady’s ambition cloaks: mastery over creation itself. Join us this week to watch the concluding episodes of 1987’s TIME AND THE RANI. The battle is joined this Friday September 26th after school in room 226.
