Bennies Buddies is a group of student leaders who work to create a warm and inviting experience for grade 9 students. Applications for the next school year come up in June.
Our mission is to empower and guide grade 9 students through high school. We are committed to being positive role models, sharing our school knowledge, and fostering community. By actively engaging with grade 9 students, we aim to enhance their awareness of school activities, provide valuable information, and create a welcoming environment. Through answering questions and offering support, we strive to make grade 9 students feel comfortable, included, and inspired to thrive in our school community. Bennies Buddies is dedicated to fostering connections, building confidence, and ensuring every grade 9 student feels a sense of belonging within our school family.

DOCTOR WHO CLUB: Coming June 14th
It’s the final Doctor Who Club meeting of the year…and our final episode will be a hop into the future & a visit to the young people of Finetown. But everything seems fine only on the surface. If the people of Finetown are willing to listen to the Doctor & Ruby and look outside their bubbles…they might see the danger they face. Join us as we close out the year with DOT AND BUBBLE, this Friday June 14th, after school in room 226. We will also be holding our end of the year prize giveaway!
DOCTOR WHO CLUB: Coming June 7th
The Doctor & Ruby arrive on the rugged coast of North Wales. The Doctor accidentally steps into a strange string circle…resulting in his disappearance and the start of a 60 year nightmare for Ruby Sunday, as her life unravels. Join us for the most terrifying episode since the introduction of the Weeping Angels, as we watch 73 YARDS. The terror begins this Friday June 7th, after school in room 226.
DOCTOR WHO CLUB: Coming May 30th
Responding to a scream for help, the Doctor runs out of the TARDIS without thinking…and ends up standing on the deadliest land mine of all time. Detonation could wipe out tens of thousands of people…but how does he get out this one? Join us for this week’s episode: BOOM. Please note that, due to the Friday PD Day, we will be meeting on THURSDAY May 30th after school in room 226.

Ruby asks the Doctor to visit the Abbey Road Studios in 1963 and watch the Beatles record their first album…but it seems that everything has changed for the worse, thanks to the all-powerful Maestro. Join us and watch the Doctor battle an enemy that terrifies even him…and uses music as a weapon. It’s THE DEVIL’S CHORD, this Friday May 24th after school in room 226.

It’s Doctor Who Club at CHRISTMAS! That means a viewing of the 11th Doctor’s epic holiday final adventure: THE TIME OF THE DOCTOR. It also means we hold the annual Christmas Prize Giveaway…and a special raffle for a brand new SONIC SCREWDRIVER! Join us for all the happy holiday fun this Friday, December 20th after school in room 226. Plan some extra time for all the yuletide goodness.
