Class of 2027 – Convocation plans are underway!

Convocation is a celebration of all students of the Class of 2027 (all students born in 2009), regardless of graduation status.

We are excited to announce the date has been set for the Class of 2027.

SBCSS Convocation Ceremony

Date: Thursday, June 17th, 2027

Location: Kitchener Memorial Auditorium – 400 East Ave, Kitchener, ON N2H 1Z6

Time: 7:00 pm

More information regarding the Convocation fee and ticket purchase will follow in the new year. Information for booking graduation photos will be posted later this week. This information will be shared on the school website, School Messenger and our school Instagram account.

Have questions about the difference between Graduation and Convocation?

Graduation = receiving your OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) by completing the requirements outlined by the Ministry of Education

Convocation = ceremony to celebrate the whole Class of 2027 regardless of graduation status

All students in the Class of 2027 (those born in 2009) are eligible to attend the convocation ceremony in June regardless of graduation status

Those who are unsure about their graduation/convocation status should confirm with their guidance counsellor
