When you think about obstacles and opportunities in your life what comes to mind? Money? Education? Who you know? Where you live? All those things can have an impact on the kind of life we live, but, girls also face certain obstacles and stereotypes just because they’re girls.
Champions for Change Club supports the “Because I am a Girl” global initiative to end gender inequality, promote girls’ rights and lift millions of girls – and everyone around them – out of poverty.
Through the Champions for Change Club we’re going to explore different issues that affect girls and women here in Canada and around the world. By understanding these issues, we can take action, make a difference and show the world that being a girl matters – for hope, for power, for positive change.

Matters take a turn for the worse when an unscrupulous man from their past returns…and becomes involved in the machinations of the deadliest life form in the universe! Join us this week for the bonus-length episode REVOLUTION OF THE DALEKS. Budget extra time for this and the March Prize Raffle…it all begins this Friday March 6th after school in room 226.

The 5th Doctor has his hands full: Kamelion is under the control of the Master, Turlough knows more about the situation on Sarn that he’s willing to say, while new friend Peri is trying to keep up with everything that is going on…including a volcanic cataclysm that will engulf the planet. This week, watch the conclusion of the 1984 adventure PLANET OF FIRE. The adventure continues this Friday February 27th, after school in room 226.
