Sarah Jane Smith, who traveled with the 3rd and 4th Doctors, has returned to her life as a journalist. In the midst of an investigation involving witchcraft and the disappearance of her Aunt Lavinia, Sarah receives help from a gift left for her by the Doctor: a witty robot dog with a nose laser.
