All students born in the year 2007 are invited to participate in the Convocation Ceremony to celebrate their high-school career.

Class of 2026: SAVE THE DATES

Class of 2026- it’s time to start planning your Convocation!

Convocation is a celebration of all students of the Class of 2026 (all students born in 2008) regardless of Graduation status.  

We are excited to announce the date has been set for your:

Convocation Ceremony:  Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 – Centre in the Square

As well your:

Grad Liturgy and Breakfast Celebration will be held on Thursday May 28th, 2026.

Please save these two important dates in your calendar.

Have questions about the difference between Graduation and Convocation?

  • Graduation= receive your OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) by completing the requirements outlined by the Ministry of Education 
  • Convocation = ceremony to celebrate the whole class of 2026 regardless of graduation status 
  • All students in the class of 2026 (those born in 2008) are eligible to attend the convocation ceremony in June regardless of graduation status 
  • Those who are unsure about their graduation/convocation status, should confirm with their guidance counsellor

College Fair is a great opportunity to learn about the programs and services Conestoga has to offer.

Faculty, students and college service providers will be available to provide information and answer questions for anyone considering studying at Conestoga or interested in learning more about post-secondary education. College Fair is also an opportunity to meet representatives from various Ontario colleges to learn more about their schools and the programs available.

TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples

Value: Up to $60,000 over 4 years (25 scholarships each year)

Regardless of your field of study, scholarships are open to First Nation, Metis and Inuit who are members / citizen of a First Nation, Metis or Inuit community who:

●        have applied for a full-time minimum 2-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study; or

●        are enrolled in, or accepted to, a full-time minimum two-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships: Grade 11 Students

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship; Grade 11 students

Due date – March 15, 2024

Value: up to $10, 000

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be enrolled full time as a grade 11 student or first-year CEGEP student in Canada
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university
  • Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
  • Demonstrate desire and ability to be entrepreneurial in a chosen field
  • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • Maintain a minimum grade percentage average of 70
  • Be a Canadian citizen
